YARM SOCIAL CHARITABLE TRUST
After many years in existence in 2019 YSCT announced it was winding up as a charity and distributing its assets. These assets included the selling of the community building off Yarm High Street for development. Local organisations in the Yarm area were invited to submit applications for grants of £1k to £10k. Our formal application for £10k was accepted and we received the funds. As part of the conditions of the grant we have supplied invoices to the Trust to adhere to conditions of the Charity Commission. To date we have spent £8500 on such things as balls, bibs, junior goalie kit, change of strip kit, coaching tops, facemasks, etc. But the main expense has been £5000 on two team shelters. Due to Covid and delays in the Egglescliffe pitch development these shelters have just been erected and a reference to the Trusts generosity will be posted on them. The remaining £1500 will be spent in the near future and will include an onsite storage shed pitch side at Egglescliffe.
